FAKING SOUND

MUSIC MIXER

Today there are main musical technologies that allow us to fake sound. What do I mean by fake sound, those sounds that are generated and mixed by musical programs.

It is no surprise that over the years as our interest in technology has grown, therefore it is no surprise that we constantly are experimenting with those technologies in music. Many original sounds such as running water, bells and chimes, live performances etc are being recording or uploaded in to these musical programs. They are stored, sorted and when they are needed they are tweaked to form fake music.
I have found that one of the Major negatives of this, is that record labels make use of these technologies to dupe their listeners.
This has lead to many artists having terrible live performance and even sometimes the artists opt for lip sinking to there recorded studio tapes.

Ashley Simpson
Many fans are left disappointed and their expectations not meet. That is why today many people prefer to listen to music straight from a cd or mp3 player than endure the expenses of seeing live performances.
Mirach Carry
There are many artists that have been caught lip sinking recently, such as Ashley Simpson and Mirach Carry (photos featured above).
However music mixers can be useful to bring about new sounds , they can also store sounds that are nearly impossible for the majority of the population to listen to like the cry of dolphins or wales mating underwater.
Well its just like everything in the world it has both pros and cons.
Today's society however are not to stirred up about listening and see fake images because we prefer the fake stuff to the real. We have come to live in a socially acceptable virtual reality.
I guess its due to the blurring of what is considered real and what is considered to be fake or may be because we are just not that interested.

Technology comes with things that have a short life span and so it means that the music that is produced in our days is only interesting for a few days. What artists do not realise is that having produced the song in the studio yuo will have to perfom the song live when doing your show. there is nothing as bad as having to pay your money to here someone lip singing rather buy the cd and forget about the show.

Awesome article. I would much rather buy the cd than dish out all that cash for lip singing. I Look forward to reading your next post:-)

I agree with you that computers have made the recording of music easier. People are now able to record themselves and make demos without having to go to a studio and they are able to manipulate the sound and boost their voices. But this becomes bad when artists have to lip sing because they can't do live performances.

I think what you are saying is absolutely true many musicians and companies no longer use the real thing, they just computerise everything with new technology nothing is real anymore everything is made up to look and sound like the real thing. The question is it wrong or right or just is it there to make life easy for us that we don’t have to go through the trouble and waste time finding what is real? Technology is taking over and there seems like there is nothing we can do about it, it is growing so fast that trying to catch up with it seems impossible.
